HELLO

My name is Mees van ’t Hull. I am a visual artist from The Netherlands and I work as a guest lecturer in Media Design. For 12 years I have been working as a freelancer with my company Meesy Visual Arts:

Goal: Project development and education for media, art and culture / Visual arts production / Workshops and guest lectures in the field of audiovisual design and media design.

Mijn naam is Mees van ’t Hull. Ik ben een visual artist uit Eindhoven en werk o.a. als gastdocente Mediavormgeving. Sinds 11 jaar ben ik werkzaam als ZZP-er met mijn bedrijf Meesy Visual Arts:

Doel: Projectontwikkeling en educatie t.b.v. media, kunst en cultuur / Productie visual arts / Workshops en gastlessen op het gebied van audiovisuele vormgeving en mediavormgeving.

I was trained as an artist at the Academy in Den Bosch (Autonomous Design) and the Hogeschool voor Kunsten in Utrecht. (Image and Media Technology and Audiovisual Design). and got a degree for Teaching. Finally I studied some Science of Art, Culture and History At The University of Amsterdam.

In addition to making video productions, I supervised many (youth) projects in the field of art and media. I did a lot of freelance work for cultural areas, music venues and youth centers. During that time I also made paintings, posters, films and murals. I have produced a number of festivals such as Video festival “Xie”. the art festival “TripleX” in the Westergas factory Amsterdam, an international VJ festival “VJology” and the Video Projection and mapping festival “Moving Buildings”. With my Company Meesy Visual Arts I have a small business in the Art field. I love to make Projections, all kind of Visuals, Motion Design, but also Drawings, Illustrations, and Patterns. I worked together with schools, municipalities and museums.

Since 2011 I have been working as a guest lecturer. I developed projects and workshops, gave guest lessons in Media Design to students of the Media College in Amsterdam, the SintLucas in Boxtel and the Media, Design and ICT College in Amersfoort.

I also make my own work as a visual artist, both autonomously and in collaboration with B-A-M. These Emerging Worlds were recently shown during Dutch Design Week and Modulab.

For the time being, I will fly a little further and I hope to be able to inspire you with my Visual Arts! My work can be seen in my portfolio and gallery.

I definitely need 7 more lives to do everything I want……..
