It’s April 26. In 2016 it is already 30 years ago that a nuclear disaster took place in Chernobyl (Ukraine). It was the worst accident at a nuclear power plant to date. Large amounts of radioactive radiation were released.
As an ode to the victims of this disaster, I made a video called “Face the Facts”, which I would like to share with you.
I collected film and photo material about the desolate and uninhabitable areas after the disaster, and edited it with special effects such as double exposure.

Het is 26 april. Het is in 2016 alweer 30 jaar geleden dat er in Chernobyl (Oekraine) een kernramp plaats vond. Het was het zwaarste ongeval met een kerncentrale tot op heden. Er kwamen grote hoeveelheden radioactieve straling vrij.
Als ode aan de slachtoffers van deze ramp, heb ik een filmpje gemaakt genaamd “Face the Facts”, wat ik graag met jullie wil delen.
Ik heb film- en fotomateriaal verzameld wat te vinden is over de verlaten en onbewoonbare gebieden na de ramp, en heb dit gemonteerd met speciale effecten zoals double exposure .
